Privacy: Advertising, Cookies & Local Progress

How Adsterra ads use connection data and cookies, when ads stay off, and how to clear or export the chapter progress saved in your browser.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses Adsterra Banner and Native advertisements on its public pages, including this privacy page. Advertising scripts are served through bauval.org and may contact other advertising partners. When an ad loads, those services receive connection information such as your IP address, browser/device details, page URL and technical identifiers. They may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver ads and measure performance. See Adsterra’s privacy policy for the provider’s practices.

Advertising across the site

All public pages and language versions share the same advertising layout. The banner size depends on the space available: mobile, desktop and wide-screen sidebar ads are not all loaded together on small screens. Advertising may be unavailable because of network errors, browser blocking or the provider’s inventory. Our deployment switch can disable the integration site-wide. This version adds no geographic eligibility filter, consent popup or independent analytics script. Browser cookie controls and the advertising provider’s own policies still apply.

Chapter progress on your device

The checklist stores selected chapter numbers in your browser’s local storage under resonance-guide:story-progress:v1. That progress is not sent to the server. Use Clear progress on the walkthrough page or remove this site’s browser data. Export progress downloads a JSON file to your device; it does not upload it. Languages share progress on the same origin; the previous vercel.app address has separate browser storage.

Official stores, sources and advertising links lead to third parties with their own privacy practices. Guide images are hosted on this site. Vercel may process normal connection information and request logs under its privacy policy; we do not promise a provider log-retention period. This is a general-audience fan guide, not a service designed to collect personal information from children. The site has no registration, comments or forms requesting personal details.
