Battle rules

Final Fantasy Resonance Combat: Stagger, Bonus Phase & Resonance
Learn how weakness hits, stagger gauges and bonus actions connect, and why an elemental attack can still fail against physical immunity.
Read guide →Final Fantasy Resonance Difficulty: Change Modes & Compare MRP
Switch Casual, Normal or Expert in the options menu. Understand the MRP difference and the documented PlayStation trophy requirements.
Read guide →Read damage type and element separately, then use action order and stagger to plan your turn. Difficulty changes the encounter's demands and MRP rewards; it does not supply a missing damage type.
Vision progression
Mastery develops a character's relationship with a Vision; awakening uses materials. If the wanted ability has an MR condition, a different Magicite size will not replace it. For practical acquisition routes, see MRP and Magicite.
Weapons and upgrades
Aileen's service uses Adamantite and character-specific choices. Mechabo's material requests belong to the existing upgrade quest guide, so their steps remain together.
