Final Fantasy Resonance MRP Farming: Targets, Bonuses & Pots
Choose an MRP route for your current region, prepare Vision growth before one-time pots, and compare Expert rewards with the time each fight takes.
For sustainable MRP progress, keep a Vision that still needs ranks equipped, target a fight your party can finish reliably, and aim to defeat the last enemy while it is staggered. High rewards per victory are useful only if the whole route remains quick enough.

A route for your stage
| Access | Documented target | Preparation |
|---|---|---|
| Grandshelt desert, Chapter 1 | Small Cactuar enemies | Bring Ice or Water and a way to stagger quickly |
| Southern Zoldaad, Chapter 4 | Cactuars | Keep weakness coverage and reliable recovery |
| Small island southwest of Dirnado, airship access | Gigantuars | Check survival and available skills before committing to a loop |
These regional targets come from Game8's launch guide. They are not guaranteed encounters on every tile or a measured per-minute ranking. Metal Cactuars used for EXP are a different target from the ordinary Cactuar MRP route.
Stack preparation before rewards
A Stagger Finish on the final enemy gives an MRP bonus of 1.3× in the cited guides. Expert gives 1.5× MRP, but strengthens encounters. Victoria's MR7 MRP ability and the Mastery Pendant are later options; inspect which member benefits and whether you can actually equip them.
Do not switch to Expert solely for the larger number. Time a short route including healing and travel, then compare MRP divided by total minutes. Without a personal measurement, there is no universal fastest setting.
Treat pots as a limited payout
Magic Pots disappear after a successful item request. The early Citrine Pots ask for Ether; later colors need different items. Before accepting the victory, equip the Visions you want to develop and any available MRP equipment. If unprepared, leave the encounter for a later attempt instead of spending the item automatically.
When the grind is not helping
If MR is already capped for that pairing, rotate the Vision. If the wanted command belongs to an awakening stage, you need Magicite instead. If you keep missing enemies or losing fights, adjust stagger and damage types before extending the loop.
