Final Fantasy Resonance Terra: Unlock, Magic Boost & Skill Choices
Find Terra in Chapter 1, distinguish her magic from physical elemental skills, and check Magic Boost, awakening spells and Meltdown targeting.
Terra is a Commando Vision with Fire, Ice and Water magic. Her early value is damage-type coverage: Water magic can answer a situation where an elemental physical attack cannot.
How to unlock Terra
In Chapter 1, visit the Sanctum of Terra in Grandshelt after gaining access to the Vision system. Interact with the crystal and complete its short conversation. The documented sanctum questions do not change which Vision you receive. Check the 26-Vision index for the other acquisition types.
What the awakening stages add

Magic Boost and its tradeoff
ATMA lists Magic Boost at MR3, 15 AP. It doubles the selected magic attack's damage while increasing its MP cost by 50%. This makes it a tool for a planned hit, not a reason to ignore MP recovery across a long dungeon. The later Unlock Magic passive removes that additional cost when available.
MR3 is a Mastery requirement for the wielder. It is not another name for Terra's third awakening; the growth guide separates those requirements.
Avoid a damaging target mistake
Meltdown is listed as Fire magic against all enemies and allies. Do not treat it as a safe enemy-only group spell. Riot Blade - Lotus, Terra's Resonance, is listed as non-elemental magic against enemies.
Against Shoggoth, compare Water's magic label with Cloud's Water Surge, which remains physical. Choose the attack that passes the target's defenses rather than matching only the element icon.
