Final Fantasy Resonance Warrior of Light: Unlock & Cover Skills
Find the Chapter 1 sanctum and plan Provoke, Multi-Cover, backup healing and defensive Mastery rewards without mistaking elemental blades for magic.
Warrior of Light is a Sentinel Vision with protection, backup healing and elemental physical attacks. Its tools suit a member who can take pressure while the rest of the party prepares a stagger or recovery.

Get the Vision
Visit the Sanctum of WoL in Grandshelt during Chapter 1 when the Vision system is available. Interact with its crystal and complete the questions; the documented answers do not change the unlock.
Early tools and their jobs
Vanguard Glaive combines Light physical damage with Provoke. Cure adds a small heal, while Protect improves physical defense. Thunder Blade and Stone Blade supply elemental physical attacks; neither becomes magic because of its element.
For Rain, the game's tutorial explicitly uses the matching Sentinel roles as an example pairing. It is still a choice: decide whether the next fight needs that protection or a different skill set.
Plan the Mastery costs
| Reward | Rank / AP | Practical purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Restore HP on Stagger | MR1 / 20 AP | Recover 10% max HP when staggering an enemy |
| Multi-Cover | MR3 / 25 AP | Take attacks in place of allies |
| Grit | MR9 / 40 AP | Survive otherwise fatal damage at 1 HP once in battle |
| Spirit of WoL | MR9 / 95 AP | Bundle its MR abilities into a Mastery Ability |
ATMA's data provides these costs. If you swap Visions, learned abilities still need the appropriate equipment and AP; see Vision growth.
Protect the protector
Covering allies concentrates danger on the user. Keep recovery available and do not assume that a survival passive makes repeated lethal hits safe. Later awakenings add stronger healing, protections and Dark resistance effects; inspect the current stage before relying on them.
Crystal Braver, the Resonance, combines enemy physical damage with self recovery/protection effects. Choose it for that combined purpose rather than assuming it is always the highest-damage finisher.
